SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT!
This top-notch musical comedy film really is "Something To Sing About"! James Cagney stars as a New York Big Band Leader who hopes to cash in on Hollywood success and fame in this charming 90 minute, black and white motion picture. Once again successfully donning his tough-guy character, Cagney struts his talents as a comedian, romantic lover and song-n-dance-man genius. The film features a strong supporting cast including revered character actor William Frawley (Fred Mertz of I LOVE LUCY fame) plus, Evelyn Daw, Gene Lockhart and Mona Barrie.
In addition to the title tune, this wonderful toe-tapping musical score features such hits as: "Right or Wrong", "Out of the Blue", "Any Old Love", and "Loving You". Written by noted screenwriter Austin Parker and is directed by Victor Schertzinger with photography by John Stumar and Musical Direction by Constantin Bakaleinikoff.
This excellent movie can be enjoyed by young and old alike so don't miss it! I give it FIVE STARS * * * * *
